I am leaving this afternoon for Texas for some R&R Yah Right!!!! Will return on Monday. So looking forward to this trip to see a few of my Texas friends whom I miss so much.

Thursday, December 3rd,

It snowed yesterday and it is snowing again today. Very cold! I have been working hard making hollows. These silver lined hollows are made on a CattWalk Puffy Pillow Press. These have been popular in round and oval for a while and now in the puffy pillow they are so wonderful. I like the way they are turning out. They are really hard to photograph. You can see the reflection of the camera at the bottom right side. These have been etched with a pattern of a swirl. One of my favorite patterns. Let me know what you think.

Tuesday, December 1st,

December has arrived along with the cold weather. Today while making beads my butt warmer went out. I use a heating pad to help keep me warm and it went out today so it was really cold while making beads. But for me it is better than the being too hot!
By the way! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a great one, we have lots to be grateful for. Paul Ray (our son), Arianna and Little Paul Ray came over to spend the evening with us. After eating turkey Paul Ray fell asleep on the sofa and snored really loud. I believe it is something in the turkey!!! LOL
Back to work!

Tuesday, November 17th,

Had such a great time at Creative Castle this last weekend. Carole Tripp is a fantastic hostess. She treats each of her guest artist, customers and students very special. She here self is a well accomplished seed bead artist. The people she has hired are knowledgeable and are ready, willing and able to help with any questions. I was very pleased with my sales.

Wednesday, November 4th,

Working on orders of sugar beads. They have been a great seller for me and I certainly am enjoying making them.
Still wanting to go to Albuquerque to take my mom to Build a Bear. My friend Jama suggested that I make a glass heart so that my mom can put it in her bear. I think that is a wonderful idea.
The only remnants of the snow is in the very shady areas. Each morning is so beautiful! The sun is shining and makes the snow glisten.
Back to the torch.

Thursday, October 29th,

Today is my mom's B'Day! Last time I went to visit her she mentioned that she had always wanted a Teddy Bear. So my plan was to surprise her on her birthday. I was going to Albuquerque and take her to Build a Bear so that she would get the bear of her choice. Well! I did not make it because of the 24" of snow that fell on our city in the passed two day.

My back yard yesterday with 9" of snow. Still got another 15" after this.

Tuesday, October 6th,

Did not make it to Albuquerque for the family picnic. I have a bad sinus infection. At first I did not feel bad but now I feel horrible. My whole body just aces.
More problems with e-mail! I have not received any e-mails since September 27th. There just seems to be so many problems with computer related business stuff that is really important.

Thursday, October 1st,

Will be out of town for a few days. First to Taos New Mexico to the wool market. Then on Sunday off to Albuquerque. A long lost cousin of my father is coming to visit him and meet our family. There are more than 90 in the Sandoval Clan. That is just my parents descendants. This does not include any of our cousins. My father lost his mother at a very young age. He moved form house to house so he never really got to know much about his father or any of his relatives. We have always know that we are of the Apache tribe but could never confirm it. We have learned that my father is full Apache and comes from the Bear Clan.

Less than 48 hours into having the service they canceled my internet access because they not I had so many typos, my address, my name, and by telephone number. Took two days to resolve the problem. Time I could have spent making beads and jewelry. Finally got it resolved! Up and running again. Hopefully with out any problems. Well need to make some more jewelry for a new account in Albuquerque.

They are 11mm but can be ordered in 13mm as well as 15mm. Also am making disc, hopefully they will be up soon. Well have orders to fill so back to the torch.

Friday July 30th,

I have been busy making sugar beads, silver lined hollows and triangle beads. Am using Cattwalk Lampworking Tools to make the silver lined and triangle beads. They are really fun to work with and am very pleased with the results. Sold every one of the Puffy Pillows some of the Large Oval Lentil at the ISGB Conference. The triangle press is still not yet available but I bet if you ask them they will make one for you. The ISGB Conference is lots of fun and it is always great to see old friends like Fay Katherine, and others, and to make new friends. There are so much talented beadmakers!!! The ISGB Conference was in Miami this year.

Took the red eye yesterday form Milwaukee!! Got up at 3am to get on a 6am flight arrived in Denver at 7:30am. Did not know that there were 5 tornado's that touched down here in Colorado on Sunday. Thought we left those in Texas!
The Bead & Button Show was a success for me. I sold lots of my Sugar Beads. Everyone loved the colors!!! Show the eBay auction beads to a few people on my e-mail list. They were really surprised at the size of the bead and the colors. They said that the pictures do not show the true colors. I will have to work on having better photo skills.
Paul will start his new job on Monday! We leave tomorrow for Mt. Rushmore and will return on Friday. Then on Saturday my friend Jama and I will get up very early, head to Estes Park for the Wool Market. Busy, Busy, Busy!!!!

The weather here has been constantly changing. Last weekend we had about 8" of snow. Then the week was wonderful and sunny. Now today it is overcast and cool. Wanted to get out in the sunshine but had too many deadlines to meet. So far everything that I have put up on EBay has sold. There is still one set that does not have a bid on it. So go take a look!!! They are at a great price.

I have a new phone number. 303-522-4856 There was no reason before to change my number to a Colorado number. However, recently my granddaughter got a rash and was being sent home from school.
